1. 1. The fact that all three companies payed for
their own production costs shows that they know they can benefit more from
using the Lego movie than the Lego movie will from being in their advert. It can
also make their company reach lots of new age groups because everyone is familiar
with Lego so are intrigued if they see something with Lego in it.
2. 2. The decision to make the advert out of bricks
was made because it prepares the viewer for the film and if they like what they
see in the advert they are more encouraged to watch the film. Also, if a child
saw an advert with Lego on it they would stay to watch it and if someone was unfamiliar
with Lego but know the original adverts then they would stay to watch it too.
3. 3. It is important to remind the audiences of the
underlying message because otherwise they might get carried away with the
advert and forget the reason behind it or they might not know about the film in
the first place and the advert doesn’t mention it then they are not achieving anything
by creating an advert out of Lego.
